THE WILD PARTY (Michael John LaChiusa version)
QC Concerts is proud to present THE WILD PARTY, February 28 - March 1, 2025, at the Booth Playhouse at Blumenthal Arts. This production will be co-directed by Kacy Connon and Zachary Tarlton, and music directed by Zachary Tarlton. This will be an immersive production and will be performed off-book.
QC Concerts is committed to casting a diverse and unique group of individuals, representative of the vast community that we serve. All ethnicities, identities, and abilities/disabilities encouraged to audition for any role.
Auditions for THE WILD PARTY are open to adults ages 18 and up.
Auditions for THE WILD PARTY will be at LUMI School of Musical Theatre:
Sunday, December 8th from 6:30pm-9:30pm
Monday, December 9th from 7:30pm-9:30pm
Callbacks are scheduled for Thursday, December 12th from 7:30pm-9:30pm. Please note: not all roles will be called back and not receiving a callback does not mean you are not cast.

Those auditioning should prepare 16-32 bars of music from a musical theatre style song. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.

The following selections will be used for Callbacks. Not all roles will be called back and individuals may be called back for multiple roles and only asked to sing for some roles and not all roles. The production team asks that auditionees be familiar with these cuts as we will work quickly through this material. Measure numbers are provided for specific sections as appropriate.

Eddie Mackrel - A black, aging ex-champion of the boxing ring
Mae - Eddie's ditzy wife, a former chorine
Nadine - Mae's excitable 14-year old sister
Phil D'Armano - Part of a black brother act
Oscar D'Armano - Part of a black brother act
Dolores Montoya - An ageless star of yesteryear
Gold - A vaudeville producer with Broadway ambitions
